Frost on Hay Bales
The night air dipped below freezing and brought our first frost to Honey Ridge Estates in Guyton. These hay bales are Bermuda grass and stand 4 to 6 feet tall.
Many years ago when these large round bales first came out, the farmers producing the standard bales attempted to sue, stating that cows were not going to get a square-meal! The suit was dropped when they learned that the cattle would now be getting a well-rounded diet!!!
